Replica Mac-10 machine pistols converted to deadly weapons by Grant Wilkinson have been used in 52 shootings across the UK since 2004.
Almost all of those attacks took place in London and among them were eight gangland murders.
Another weapon was fired at the scene of the Bradford robbery in which Pc Sharon Beshenivsky was killed in November 2005. It did not fire the fatal shot.
Here are details of the nine shootings:
November 4 2005 - Music producer Richard Holmes, 21, shot dead outside a community centre in Chingford, Essex. Anthony Green, 35, and Carl Dobson, 23, were convicted of murder.
November 18 2005 - Pc Sharon Beshenivsky shot dead outside a travel agency in Bradford. Mac-10 discharged at the scene. Somalian Yusuf Jama, 20, convicted of murder.
July 18 2006 - Jason Greene, 29, ambushed by gunmen who shot him dead in front of his children in his car in Wembley, north London. Gang member Christopher Toussaint-Collins, 19, convicted of murder.
October 20 2006 - Antoine Smith, 24, shot dead by two attackers on bicycles in an alleyway shooting in south west London. Two teenagers acquitted of murder.
November 1 2006 - Jamail Newton, 19, shot dead outside a nightclub in Camberwell Green, south London, by two gunmen armed with Mac-10s. One of the weapons was also used to kill Mr Smith 10 days earlier.
February 2 2007 - Michael Dosunmu shot dead with a Mac-10 while asleep in bed in Peckham, south east London. Mohammed Sannoh, 19, of Peckham, and Abdi Omar Noor, 22, convicted of murder.
October 2 2007 - Robel Tewelde, 21, shot dead with a Mac-10 in a south London stairwell. Jermaine Callum, 18, convicted of murder.
September 18 2007 - Daniel Denis, 26, suffers fatal head wounds after he is hit by a hail of bullets in his BMW car in west London by a gunman in another car. There is a £20,000 reward for information leading to his killers.
July 27 2008 - Curtis Smith, 36, shot at least six times outside Red nightclub in Cable Street, Limehouse, east London.
