Jon Thor Birgisson is a man of many talents - the Sigur Ros frontman is apparently set to put his artwork on display.

The musician will exhibit his art in a new show at the Agency gallery in London, reports The Guardian.

Jon Thor - who is one half of art duo Riceboy Sleeps as well as being singer and guitarist with Sigur Ros - has apparently been asked to show his video installations, soundscapes and paper art at the gallery.

The Icelandic singer has teamed up with artist Alex Somers and created art inspired by his homeland. Among the works is a dream-like video collage, the soundtrack to which will reportedly be released as an album later this year.

Alex is quoted as saying: "We are independently creative: I draw and Jon will paint, and then we will swap. Or we will each have a camera and then put video images together. It works because we have such a similar sense of what it beautiful."

Jon Thor, 32, has penned five internationally acclaimed albums with Sigur Ros, as well as collaborating with Radiohead on Merce Cunningham's dance piece Split Sides in 2003.
