McFly have signed up to perform in the Forestry Commission's Forest Tour 2008.
The boy band, whose debut single Five Colours In Her Hair was released less than four years ago, will perform at Thetford Forest in Suffolk on Friday July 11.
Tickets are now on sale from 01842 814612 or www.forestry.gov.uk/music. They are priced at £26, subject to booking fee.
The boys are not the only band who have signed up to the tour.
Songstress KT Tunstall is also set to perform at Thetford on June 6, and will also play Delamere Forest in Cheshire on June 15.
The Zutons are playing at a whopping five Forest venues, while the legendary Crowded House, Status Quo, The Charlatans, Katherine Jenkins and Jools Holland are also signed up to the tour. However James Morrison pulled out of his gig due to other commitments.
The Forestry Commission aims to use the tour to promote woodlands to new audiences, and making them relevant to people in new ways.
