Sugababes back Boy George
Sugababe Keisha Buchanan has apparently criticised the appointment of Cheryl Cole as the new X Factor judge.
Keisha, who played at the Isle Of Wight festival over the weekend, told Virgin Radio that she thought the Girls Aloud star was the wrong choice of judge.
She said: "Actually I would have preferred Boy George.
"He has got so much more experience, and so many more years behind him.
"I think he would have been much better as the judge."
Keisha's bandmates Amelle Berrabah criticised the decision.
Amelle said: "Yeah Boy George has generations more on her. Not that Cheryl hasn't got any experience, but someone who has been going for as long as he had should have been given a chance."
But fellow Sugababe Heidi Range took a more sympathetic view: "Well Cheryl did come from reality TV herself, so I guess that does make sense."
