They may be about to star in their own rock and comedy festival, but it seems comedians Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt aren't quite sure how to describe their act.

The comics will be headlining at the Mighty Boosh Festival, in Tonbridge, Kent, on July 5.

Noel, 35, told The Telegraph: "I don't really know what it is we're doing. You could say it's like Cabaret - a sort of mini musical. I'm not sure we quite know.

"We will have some of our characters doing songs and a few dramatic situations. They're holding us back to the end to get the crowd all excited."

He added: "In a way this takes what we've been doing to its logical conclusion. Before we'd be sitting down as zoo keepers arguing about our musical taste.

"Now we are arguing about it on stage and then playing songs within out musical taste, which should be hilarious."
