They may have shown their disapproval of Jay-Z being added to Glastonbury's line-up last weekend, but the New York rapper has apparently offered an olive branch to Oasis.
Noel Gallagher gave his outspoken views about having a hip-hop artist headline the traditional rock-based festival, but then Jay-Z then showed he had no hard feelings by doing a cover of Oasis' hit Wonderwall, which went down a treat with festival-goers.
"Anyone, Oasis as well. I don't bear any grudge, it's all good," the 38-year-old told MTV Base when asked who he wanted to collaborate with.
"I just believe in good music and bad music, I've always said that. I've always stated that I don't believe in the lines and classifications that people put music in so they can define it."
And he reportedly confirmed stories that Noel wants to have a conversation.
"I haven't spoken to him. I heard he was reaching out, but I haven't spoken to him," Jay-Z - whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter - told the channel.
