Amy Macdonald has apparently revealed her American fans like more than just her music - they're crazy about her accent.
People across the pond cannot get enough of the singer's Scottish lilt, the Daily Star reports.
"One DJ told me he could listen to me talk all day, never mind the singing," the singer is reported to have said.
Amy's debut album This Is The Life has sold more than a million albums and last week she was awarded the Silver Clef HMV Newcomer award for her efforts.
She is also due to release a new single in September.
But before that she hopes her trip to America will bring her into contact with some of her US heroes.
"It would be nice to meet The Killers properly 'cos I've been covering Mr Brightside at my recent gigs," she apparently added.
This should not be too big an ask, as Amy's record label Vertigo also has The Killers on its books.
