Stars line up for dancing contest

The celebrities taking part in Strictly have been unveiled

Models Jodie Kidd and Lisa Snowdon, chef Gary Rhodes, and former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens are among the celebrities hoping to foxtrot their way to victory in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, it's been announced.

The sixth series will feature two more couples than in previous years and even more episodes.

The other women taking part in the dance contest are The One Show presenter Christine Bleakley, actress Cherie Lunghi, former M People singer Heather Small, former EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth and former EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace.

The other men taking part are GMTV presenter Andrew Castle, Holby City star Tom Chambers, former EastEnders actor Phil Daniels, swimming champion Mark Foster, rugby star Austin Healey, political broadcaster John Sergeant and actor Don Warrington.

The popular weekend show returns to BBC One with hosts Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly.
