Dexter cast excited about Emmys

As the Primetime Emmys edge closer, Dexter's CS Lee has revealed how he feels about their nominations.

The American drama has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, while the show's star Michael C Hall has bagged a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor.

"We're excited and hopeful as well. I think the general consensus is that it would be cool to get an Emmy, but if we didn't, that's cool too," says the actor, who plays Vince Masuka on the ITV2 show.

"Just the fact that we're nominated for best drama is pretty cool, considering there are some pretty good shows nominated this year. I think it's cool that Michael C Hall is nominated for an Emmy for his role, because I think he deserves it and he does a fantastic job. He's such a cool, nice guy so it'd be really nice to see him win."

For the 36-year-old actor, there's more excitement about the ceremony on September 21 than winning.

"I don't really care if we win or lose," he admits.

"This might be my only chance to go to an Emmy show so I'll go and have a good time, hang out with the cast and meet fellow actors that I know in the industry. I got my Hugo Boss tailored suit with a skinny black tie yesterday - I was trying to keep it edgy - so I'm all set. I'm hoping I'll get to keep it!"
