Amanda Lamb is pregnant, her agent has said.

The former estate agent and model rose to stardom wearing a black cloak in TV adverts for insurance firm Scottish Widows in the 1990s, and now helps couples look for bargain holiday homes on the Channel 4 show A Place In The Sun.

Jo Wander, her agent, said Amanda, originally from Portsmouth, was "thrilled" to be expecting her first child, which is due on Valentine's Day.

Amanda, 36, has been with her partner Sean McGuinness, 33, since the end of last year.

Sean is a cameraman on the show, and the couple met while filming.

Amanda was married to travel journalist Mike Carter for five years, but they divorced in 2003.

She was then linked with A Place In The Sun soundman Lawrence Sayer, Lee Sharpe and rugby player Ben Lewitt before her relationship with Sean.
