Oprah to appear on 30 Rock?

The producers of 30 Rock seem to be getting in touch with Hollywood's finest - the latest celebrity rumoured to be appearing on the comedy is Oprah Winfrey.

Inside sources have confirmed to E! Online's TV expert Kristin Dos Santos that the Emmy Award-winning chat show host is in final talks to guest star on an episode of the show this autumn.

The sources say that the media mogul, who, in addition to her talk show, acts, writes, publishes magazines and produces shows, will appear in the episode that is tentatively set to air on November 6.

The initial plan, which is subject to change, is that she will be playing herself with all of her scenes opposite Tina Fey's character, Liz Lemon.

In addition, Oprah's story also plays into a feud between Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) that will continue through several episodes.

Earlier this week, the NBC network announced that former Friends star Jennifer Aniston will be appearing on the show as a stalker.
