Ugly Betty Michael Urie has refused to confirm rumours there is to be a musical version of the hit TV show.
But the 28-year-old actor - who plays Wilhelmina's exquisitely b****y gay assistant Marc St James in the hit US comedy - said he'll sign up if it is true.
Michael said: "We have an expression in Texas, where I come from, it's called 'talking out of your a**'. You know when you talk about a subject you know nothing about and that's what happened and I was quoted. I'd love for it to be true but I really don't know whether it will happen. There's definitely been talk of a musical episode though. I'm not a great singer but I'd love to sing in the show. A duet with Vanessa Williams, now that would be the ultimate!"
The TV star also denied there were any divas in the Ugly Betty cast.
He said: "I don't think anyone could get away with that on our set because there's no room for it.
"We're having too much fun. I've not even seen anyone lose their temper. The material is so silly or loving, I suppose you could say we get all our diva behaviour out in front of the camera."
