Rachel's wedding strictly on hold
Rachel Stevens has had to postpone her wedding to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The former S Club 7 star was set to marry fiance Alex Bourne this autumn, but after signing up for the BBC dance contest, they have had to put their nuptials on hold, according to Star magazine.
Rachel said: "I did think about trying to squeeze a wedding in during the show, but there was just no way. It will have to wait until it has ended."
Rachel, 30, and former masseur Alex, 31, were friends at school and had stayed in touch. They began dating over a year ago and he proposed in June while the pair were on holiday in Italy.
Fellow Strictly contestant Tom Chambers, star of Holby City, is squeezing his marriage in during the series, but has postponed his honeymoon.
A source told Star: "Rachel is really ambitious and puts her career first."
