Oasis are being forced to postpone three further shows as a result of the injuries Noel Gallagher got when he was attacked on stage during V Festival in Toronto.

A CT scan has now revealed that Noel suffered three broken and dislodged ribs in the attack, and he has been advised by his doctor that he will not be able to perform for at least another week.

The three affected shows are the Eden Project, Cornwall on September 27, the Gloria Theatre Cologne on September 29 and Bataclan, Paris on September 30.

A spokeswoman for the band said all three shows would be rescheduled and fans are advised to retain their tickets pending further announcements.

The Oasis UK Arena Tour, beginning on October 7, is due to go ahead as planned.
