Posh's pencil-thin heels

Victoria Beckham took stiletto heels to the next level by wearing a pair of impossibly thin high heels to a shopping centre.

Posh Spice was spotted wearing a bright red mini-dress and patent blue high heels with a platform on the front of the shoe, and thin metal rods for heels, the Sun reports.

She was taking sons Cruz, three, Romeo, six, and Brooklyn, nine, to a teddy bear themed party in an LA shopping centre when she sported the strange-looking shoes, but hubby David Beckham was nowhere in sight to give Posh a helping hand.

"She looked like she was balancing on two ballpoint pens," an onlooker said.
