Janet Jackson is excited to resume her North American tour after postponing a string of shows due to an undisclosed illness.
Access Hollywood reports that the star will be back on stage with her Rock Witchu Tour, promoting her latest album Discipline, this weekend.
"Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever," promoter Live Nation told the website in a statement.
The 42-year-old singer was forced to postpone live shows in Montreal, North Carolina, Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Florida, following her brief hospitalisation in Montreal last month just hours before the start of her concert. She has since been recuperating from her illness on doctor's advice.
Janet kicked off her tour in Vancouver on September 10.
