Piers Morgan has claimed if Princess Diana was alive she would love to star on Celebrity Big Brother.
The former Daily Mirror editor reminisced about meeting the late princess while speaking at the launch of the Treo Pro smartphone by Palm in London's Brick Lane.
When asked what he thought she would be doing now if she was not dead, Piers said: "Diana would be starring in Celebrity Big Brother. She loved fame and she loved therapy and talking about herself. She had verbal diarrhoea. She'd love it, she'd see the show as a kind of therapy. She'd be in that house with Fergie, Lord Lucan and Nelson Mandela."
The 43-year-old ex-journalist said he now saw himself as a Z-List celebrity working on the judging panel of TV talent shows Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent.
He said: "I wouldn't go back to journalism. It's too much hard work. Being a celebrity is great people bend over backwards to be nice to you and give you whatever you want."
Piers couldn't resist a snipe at his Britain's Got Talent co-star Simon Cowell, claiming the music mogul is so short he has to sit on three pillows to look tall on the show.
Piers said: "If you look carefully, Simon grows between shows. When we're on Britain's Got Talent he's smaller then me, then suddenly his three pillows arrive and he's level with my eye line."
