Brookside Close - the set for the former Channel 4 soap - has apparently become a ghost town.
The patio where Anna Friel's character Beth Jordache buried her abusive father Trevor Jordache is overgrown with weeds and the famous road sign is missing from its posts, The Sun reports.
The cul-de-sac set has been up for sale since Brookside ended in 2003 after 21 years but has been left abandoned and neglected.
Developers bought the street of real houses in Croxteth, Liverpool, in 2005 and refurbished all 13. They reportedly hoped to sell each house for up to £300,000, but five years on the close is still empty.
Now an auction firm wants to flog the entire close for £2 million.
One expert said: "People just aren't buying houses in the current climate -- not even on telly's Brookside Close."
Brookside was created by Phil Redmond, who also devised BBC school drama Grange Hill and other Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
In it's heyday it was a popular soaps - a lead contender alongside Coronation Street and EastEnders.
