ER's Dr Greene to return
ER fans' favourite Dr Mark Greene, played by Anthony Edwards, is returning to the medical show for an episode of the final season.
According to OK! Magazine (US Edition), the character, who actually died at the end of season eight, will be making an appearance in an episode entitled Heal Thyself, which airs in the US on November 13.
"We had hoped to bring back some of ER's stars for the final season and think that our loyal fans will enjoy seeing one of the show's most beloved and memorable characters," said executive producer John Wells.
Rumour has it that the episode will feature Mark in a flashback storyline.
Anthony Edwards actually appeared in the original pilot for ER and continued on the show for another eight seasons before leaving in 2002.
The producers of the show have also managed to entice original cast member Noah Wyle back as John Carter to the show for a few episodes in the final season.
