Girls Aloud, Take That and a special edition of Strictly Come Dancing feature on Children In Need on Friday night.

Terry Wogan returns with Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton to host the annual fund-raising night.

The seven-hour BBC One show will also see McFly perform their Children In Need songs, Do Ya, and a cover version of Rod Stewart and The Faces' hit Stay With Me.

The Osbournes, Jack Black and Stevie Wonder are among the celebrities who will be appealing for donations and the BBC newsreaders will also give a live performance.

Other performers include the Sugababes, former X Factor winner Leon Jackson, Boyzone, the Stereophonics, John Barrowman, Il Divo, Jason Donovan and Sharleen Spiteri.

Last year's BBC Children In Need TV broadcast raised more than £19 million on the night and the 2007 total appeal topped £37 million.

The show will be broadcast from Television Centre from 7pm on BBC One.
