Kate Moss in 'festive accident'

Kate Moss and rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince turned up to a party covered in bruises, because of a bizarre Christmas accident.

The supermodel, 34, had cuts and bruises to her face, while The Kills guitarist, 39, sported a black eye at the Christmas lights switch-on at Stella McCartney's London store.

The couple claim Jamie opened Kate's attic to get out Christmas baubles and holly and the boxes fell on their heads.

A fellow guest told the Daily Star: "Jamie and Kate couldn't stop chuckling when people gingerly asked about their injuries.

"He said he was on a ladder and she was waiting at the bottom for him to pass down the boxes of decorations.

"But he lost his grip on one and heavy decorations landed on their heads."

The injuries did not stop the couple partying at Shoreditch House with Stella, 37, and her husband Alasdhair Willis.
