Vanessa Williams kicked off a breast cancer fundraiser in New York by driving a pink fence post into the ground.
The 45-year-old actress - best known for playing catty Wilhelmina in Ugly Betty - took part in the ceremony to launch the Post For A Cure campaign for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life effort.
As part of the campaign launched by Vanessa - whose other small screen credits include South Beach and Boomtown - fencing company Campanella Fence Centre will donate a dollar for every post put in the ground until April 18.
The firm said posts were chosen as they are symbols of stability and strength.
