Gwyneth Paltrow mum denies divorce

Gwyneth Paltrow's mum Blythe Danner has dismissed reports that her daughter's marriage to Chris Martin is in trouble.

The Daily Mail reported last week that the Oscar-winning actress and her rock star husband have been holed up in their London home, desperately trying to make their marriage work.

But Blythe has rubbished the talk and said it stems from their refusal to be pictured together.

She told Foxnews.com: "They don't take pictures together if they can avoid it. It's a strategy. They don't want the pandemonium.

"They're staying in England for the New Year. Then coming here (to New York)."
