Kate Winslet has apparently said she is not comfortable being interviewed by Jonathan Ross again.

The chat show host and TV film reviewer returns to the BBC next month following his suspension. Kate - tipped for an Oscar for her role in new film The Reader and appearing in Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio this month - has said she won't be speaking to Ross on his show, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Lizzy Cundy, who will be interviewing Kate for the ITV At The Movies Christmas special told the newspaper: "Kate told me that the interviews Ross does are all about him and not about the people he invites on his show.

"I think Kate, in common with a lot of stars, feels more comfortable with us. It isn't that the questions I ask aren't tough, but they are asked in a professional and courteous way and they are about the people I am talking to and not me."

Ross was suspended from his BBC TV and radio shows following a prank telephone call he and Russel Brand made to 78-year-old actor Andrew Sachs.
