Funnyman Brand wants to date Spears
Russell Brand has revealed that he would love to date Britney Spears.
"She's looking for a boyfriend now? I'm going now," he joked to reporters at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Bedtime Stories.
"Is she here? I'm just gonna be quick. There's not a moment to lose," the comedian added as he pretended to run off the red carpet, according to US OK!
Britney - whose divorce to ex-husband Kevin Federline was finalised in July 2007 - and Russell seemed to have a good chemistry during the lead-up to the MTV Video Music Awards last September, as they filmed a series of TV spots in preparation for the awards.
The British funnyman said to the Womanizer singer in one: "You will remember that name because I think pretty soon that's gonna be your surname. Britney Brand," as she replied with a giggle: "Oh gosh".
