The Joker has been voted the top villain ever in a new poll.
The Batman baddie - played by the late Heath Ledger in this year's The Dark Knight and Jack Nicholson in 1989's Batman - took the No 1 spot in a survey by Chewits, reports the Daily Star.
The maniacal villain's dastardly doings beat US President George W Bush into second place in the poll of panto audiences.
Star Wars legend Darth Vader came third and Freddy Krueger, the gruesome villain from the Nightmare On Elm Street movies, was in fourth place.
Animated baddie Cruella De Vil's desire for a Dalmatian coat earned her fifth place.
Soap villains were also represented, with Richard Hillman, played by Brian Capron in Coronation Street, in sixth.
The Wicked Witch from The Wizard Of Oz, evil sorcerer Jaffar from Aladdin and the shark in Jaws rounded out the Top 10.
