John Travolta has spoken about how he attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in a failed bid to save his son's life.
The actor, whose son Jett died tragically after collapsing at their Bahamas holiday home, said on his website he did all he could to save his son, the Daily Mirror reports.
"I did everything I could to keep him alive. I tried the kiss of life for about 20 minutes," said John.
Jett was apparently prone to "death-like seizures" as a result of having the rare Kawasaki disease and had been on medication to help prevent them.
But the Travoltas said they had the effects of the drug had recently started to wear off and that it was causing Jett liver damage, and after meetings with neurosurgeons they took him off the medication.
A postmortem is due to take place in the Bahamas.
