Cheryl Cole has said she was disappointed not to hear from friend Victoria Beckham after allegations that her footballer husband Ashley had been unfaithful broke.
The Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge follows in the path of the world's greatest beauties by gracing the front of February's Vogue magazine.
The two women bonded during the 2006 World Cup. Victoria has also had to endure infidelity allegations about her footballer husband David and Rebecca Loos.
Speaking to Vogue about her disappointment, Cheryl said: "I mean, David's mum is friends with Ashley's mum, she (Beckham) was in my hotel room the whole time during the World Cup - we've had barbecues together - so I was quite shocked by that."
Cheryl also spoke up for her friend Posh, saying "it's not fair the way the press pick on her. Nobody should endure that sort of vilification".
Cheryl spoke about the allegations involving her husband, telling the magazine: "Well, you only have to read the girl's story.
"Can you imagine? Saying all that stuff about a married man in that state? I mean, to be honest, I feel sorry for her."
She said of him: "Ashley's young, and he's got quite a young mentality for his age, anyway. He's learning."
Cheryl said she liked fellow WAG Coleen Rooney, but added that some were "like wooden blocks, I'm telling you".
The Geordie also told the magazine that she thought Peaches Geldof was "up herself" and Alexa Chung "acted all superior, like" when they first met.
