Alexa Davalos showered Daniel Craig with praise at the European premiere of Defiance, calling him "a gift".
The actress shares the screen with the 007 star in the holocaust-themed action movie.
Speaking on the red carpet at London's Leicester Square Odeon, Alexa, 26, said: "He is unlike anyone I have ever worked with really, he is such a gift, he's so gracious and so humble and so unbelievably talented.
"It's sad for me when someone says so how does it feel to work with James Bond, he's so much more, so much bigger. It's just a testament to him being able to do anything really but he is extraordinary."
Daniel plays one of three Jewish brothers who escape Nazi-occupied Poland and take refuge in woods they have known since childhood. From there they begin to battle the Nazis and provide protection for men and women of all ages who join their fight.
When asked if she had seen evidence of any egos in her co-stars, who include Jamie Bell and Liev Schreiber, Alexa said: "We were a family instantly and we were together 24 hours a day almost, so it was a really beautiful bond."
