Coolio and Michelle Heaton have taken steps towards ending their feud in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
A row has been simmering between the pair over the rapper's suggestion that love was in the air between the former Liberty X singer and ex-boy band member Ben Adams.
Big Brother took the pair separately into the diary room and advised them to talk through their differences.
"I actually think you're a nice girl," Coolio told Michelle, saying he had been trying to wind her up.
Michelle said she found it hard being with loud, opinionated people like him, but Coolio insisted he was not trying to intimidate her.
"I think you're cool, I think you're a really nice person," he added. "I was winding you up because it's a competition and I saw that it bothers you so I used it to attack you but it wasn't personal. This is a game."
The pair apologised to each other and tried to seal the reconciliation with a hug, but Coolio's car costume - which he was wearing for the shopping task - got in the way.
Earlier, Michelle told Big Brother she was "peeved as hell" with Coolio, and felt like she wanted to go home.
But Coolio was unrepentant about his attitude towards Ulrika Jonsson - which the ex-weathergirl described as "vile". "The only reason I talk to Ulrika the way I do is because every time I say something she has something negative to say. I can tell she doesn't really like me," he said.
