Daniel Craig has admitted he used to go to video shops and hide his early films because he was so ashamed of them.
The actor told US television that he made "c**p movies" before rising to superstardom with Bond.
"There was a time when I'd go into Blockbusters and if they had a film of mine on the shelf I used to throw it under the counter," he said. "They would always be back there next time I came, though."
He also told chat show host Jon Stewart that he still got nervous when being interviewed, saying: "I'm sitting here with sweaty palms."
Daniel's latest film Defiance is showing in UK cinemas.
