Jennifer Hudson to sing at Grammys

Jennifer Hudson is to perform at the Grammys.

The US actress and singer - who has taken time out following the murders of her mum, brother and seven-year-old nephew in October - has joined the line-up for the awards ceremony on February 8.

Jennifer, who scooped an Oscar for her performance in musical movie Dreamgirls in 2006, is up for three gongs herself.

The 27-year-old will return to the spotlight before the Grammys when she sings America's national anthem at the SuperBowl on February 1.

Jennifer has rarely been seen in public since her relatives were shot dead in Chicago. Her estranged brother-in-law has been charged over the killings.
