Dakota to star in Twilight sequel?

Dakota Fanning has fuelled speculation she's set to star in the sequel to vampire flick Twilight.

The internet has been buzzing with rumours about the 14-year-old being in the frame for New Moon, and she's now confirmed it's a possibility.

The War Of The Worlds actress told Hitfix.com it would be "a really fantastic experience".

"I really hope it works out," said Dakota, who can be seen in sci-fi thriller Push from next month.

The Twilight movie, based on the hit novel by Stephenie Meyer and starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, was a huge hit when it was released in the UK in December.
