Patrick Swayze says he is still receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer, after reports surfaced that he has stopped receiving his medication.

"The reports are not true. Patrick is continuing his treatment," the actor's representative Annett Wolf told People.com.

Reports in tabloid newspapers had said that the Dirty Dancing star had ceased chemotherapy treatments and all other medication for the cancer he was diagnosed with last March.

"No matter what's thrown at me, I can take it," the 56-year-old star told Barbara Walters last month. "And I can keep going."

Earlier this month, the actor was treated in hospital for pneumonia, said to be a complication of his ongoing chemotherapy treatments.
