Kate Moss set for The Kills clash?

Jamie Hince has apparently upset his band The Kills by inviting Kate Moss on tour with them.

Jamie Hince, Alison Mosshart and the rest of the band are set to fly to Australia to tour next month, but according to The Daily Mirror Alison is not happy, as Jamie's supermodel girlfriend is planning to do more than just watch from backstage.

A source said: "Kate has never been on tour with The Kills before and Alison believes it should stay this way.

"Poor Jamie is wedged between a rock and a hard place. He wants Kate with him as his girlfriend but at the same time he's desperate to placate Alison by keeping things strictly professional. But he has promised Kate that if she comes out to Australia he'll get her on stage and include her in the music."

When Kate dated Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty they dueted together on La Belle Et Le Bete, and Kate was even given songwriting credits on four tracks on the band's second album.

Jamie recently gave Kate a £26,000 Steinway piano for her 35th birthday and promised to teach her to play.

The source revealed: "Kate has written half a song which she is desperate for him to perform - with her.

"This goes totally against Alison's ideas and she has made it very clear The Kills are a closed shop and they should tour and perform alone.

"As far as she is concerned Kate should stick to the catwalk - her input is not welcome and completely out of place."
