The singer is among the latest acts confirmed to perform at the event in the States on Sunday.
Soul legends Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder will also sing at the awards ceremony, it was announced.
MIA has been nominated in the category of record of the year for Paper Planes.
Earlier this week Brit singers Adele and Estelle were added to the ceremony's growing list of performers. They will join U2, Paul McCartney, Radiohead and Justin Timberlake in performing at the annual show.
Sir Paul has received two nominations for best male pop vocal performance and best solo rock vocals. At the glittering ceremony he will be performing with special guest, former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
Coldplay, Katy Perry, Jonas Brothers and Jennifer Hudson are also down to perform.
