McFly's up close and personal tour

McFly are to perform a string of intimate gigs around the UK in April and May.

There will be 14 stops on their Up Close... But This Time It's Personal tour, supported by American Idol runner-up David Archuleta.

McFly will kick off in Wolverhampton on April 21, then visit Blackpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Portsmouth, London's Hammersmith Apollo, Southend, Ipswich, Croydon, Oxford, Manchester and Leicester before finishing in Cambridge on May 10.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9am on Saturday February 28 at www.gigsandtours.com.

McFly enjoyed a great year in 2008. Following up the release of their new album Radio: ACTIVE - on their own new independent label Super Records - they enjoyed a sell-out arena tour in November.
