Oasis are to headline German music festival Melt.
The Brit pop legends have been announced as joining the line-up for the event, held on the Ferropolis peninsula, at the Ferropolis industry and mining museum.
Bloc Party and Aphex Twin + Hecker will also headline the festival, which runs from July 17 to July 19 this year.
Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher said: "It's not us who make the show. It's the fans."
The Klaxons and Foals are among other acts taking to the stage at the event.
Melt! Festival - which will be taking place for the 12th time in 2009 - will see over 80 live acts and DJs play to 20,000 visitors across six floors in front of the backdrop of the hulking metal frames of open-pit mining machines.
