Watson poised to study at Yale?

Emma Watson could soon be winging her way to study in America at the prestigious Yale University.

The Harry Potter star revealed via Twitter that she had been accepted into the Ivy League establishment, E! reports.

The actress is also rumoured to have been accepted at a British university - Cambridge - but there is no word yet on which institution she'll attend.

She has revealed in the past that she likes the idea of a US education.

"I'm going to university so I'll have some kind of qualification if it all goes wrong," Emma said last year, revealing she intends to study English.

"I like the east coast [of America] as I think it's more European. I was excited about a liberal arts education which we don't have in England. It means you can study four different subjects a term whereas in England, you just have to do one for four years and I find that quite narrow."
