Michael Jackson set for UK gigs?

Michael Jackson will appear in London to make a "special announcement", amid speculation he's set to play a string of comeback gigs.
The music legend is to appear at a press conference at the 02 Arena on Thursday (March 5), his spokeswoman said.
The 50-year-old pop icon is widely expected to play a residency at the London venue this summer, similar to that of Prince who spent 21 nights there in 2007.
Earlier, the star's spokeswoman said she could not confirm the speculation about the concerts.
If the King of Pop does announce his comeback, tickets for the shows are expected to sell out in record time and if he follows in Prince's footsteps at the 18,000 capacity O2 he could play to an estimated half a million fans.
