Sacha Baron Cohen goes miniature

Sacha Baron Cohen is being lined up to play a miniature person in a new movie co-starring Reese Witherspoon.

Variety reports that Sacha and Reese will star alongside Paul Giamatti, in social satire film Downsizing, directed by Sideways' Alexander Payne.

Paul will play a man with struggling finances who decides he can have a better quality of life if he undergoes a process to shrink himself. Along the way, he meets a woman (Witherspoon) and a pint-sized foreigner, played by Sacha.

While the deals are still being finalised for the movie, Sacha is putting the finishing touches to his own comedy film Bruno, out this summer, in which he plays a flamboyant Austrian fashion journalist.
