Adele 'botched' Timberlake meeting

Adele has spoken of her embarrassment over a botched meeting with Justin Timberlake.

The 20-year-old songstress bumped into the US heartthrob at the Grammy Awards last month. But overwhelmed by the occasion, the British singer's nerves kicked in leading to her blanking Justin, reports People.

She explained: "In the hallway after I'd won two Grammys, he grabbed me and he's like 'Congratulations'.

"I was totally overwhelmed about the Grammys that I didn't even realise it was Justin.

"Then, 10 yards down the huge hallway in the Staples Centre, I just heard this huge scream and realised I was screaming my head off."

Through the medium of the magazine, Adele apologised to Justin if it appeared she didn't want to meet him.
