Michael Jackson's music experience

Michael Jackson visited the British Music Experience
6 March 2009 05:39pm

Michael Jackson was the first to view new interactive exhibition the British Music Experience during a private tour of the 02 Arena.

The King of Pop was over an hour-a-half late for his adoring fans after calling a press conference to announce he will be playing 10 farewell shows at the O2 in July.

But before he had been treated to a preview of the new British Music Experience featuring memorabilia and interactive video footage from The Beatles right through to the Arctic Monkeys.

Visitors to the exhibition can listen to Sir Cliff Richard reveal his own musical heroes or take virtual music lessons from Sir Paul McCartney.

There are stage costumes ranging from that of David Bowie to The Spice Girls and everything in between and even beyond.

The Gibson Interactive Studio offers visitors the chance to play real instruments, including guitars, drums, pianos and even sing in a studio, guided by video tutorials from Sir Paul McCartney, Kt Tunstall and Amy Macdonald, among many others.

Interactive tickets then allow visitors to download parts of the information later at www.britishmusicexperience.com.
