MIA denies bizarre baby name

MIA has denied calling her newborn baby boy Ickitt.

The Paper Planes singer said web reports that she and fiance Benjamin Bronfman had given the baby the unusual moniker were false.

"My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit thank you very much to all the Hollywood press," the London-born Sri Lankan singer wrote on her MySpace blog. "He's a baby, he don't need press! I didn't release the baby name because I didn't think it was news!!!! But I will be back with something newsworthy soon, till then go pick on Apple, Satchel and Moon Unit. Lots of love Stickit!!"

MIA, 31, gave birth to her son on February 11, just days after she performed at the Grammys in LA.
