Clive Owen makes time for his kids

Clive Owen has said he always takes time to hang out with his kids in between movies.

In new film Duplicity, Clive filmed in different locations all over the world - from the Bahamas to Rome - so was away from daughters Hannah and Eve for long periods of time.

He said: "I tend to just make sure that if I go off and am spending a serious amount of time away from the children I take considerable down-time and hang with the kids for a while."

Co-star Julia Roberts, mother to twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and baby Henry had it slightly easier as she could take her youngest child with her on her travels.

She said: "I still get to pack mine up and this was an ideal situation because we filmed most of it in New York, so my older kids were in school and my baby was with me so it was really a dream scenario."

Duplicity is released on March 20.
