Kimberley rules out Doctor Who

Kimberley Nixon has dismissed reports that she is set for a role in in Doctor Who.

The Cranford actress, 23, has insisted that she has made no contact with the BBC show, despite reports to the contrary.

It was rumoured the actress, who has also starred in Easy Virtue alongside Jessica Biel and Colin Firth, could join the new Doctor, Matt Smith in an upcoming series.

"Absolutely nothing [is happening with Doctor Who]," she told Metro. "They film in my home town so it would be good from a convenience point of view. I haven't heard anything - just what I've read in the papers. I haven't even auditioned."
