Justin Timberlake to launch tequila

Justin Timberlake is set to launch a new brand of tequila.

The US heartthrob - who already has a fashion line to his name - will unveil the booze in the States this year, reports People.com.

The SexyBack singer, who is dating Hollywood actress Jessica Biel, has named the tequila 901, partly because it's the area code of his hometown of Memphis.

A spokesperson for 28-year-old Justin said another reason is that "901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning".

901 tequila will go on sale in various cities in America in May.
