Ne-Yo: Leona Lewis has a niche

Ne-Yo has confirmed he's been busy penning music for Leona Lewis.

The RnB star - who palled up with the X Factor winner when they worked on her Spirit album - told the Daily Star: "I've another big ballad ready for Leona."

The singer-songwriter, whose hits include Closer and Sexy Love, went on: "She has a niche, a style that's already here. She has a phenomenal voice so I don't need her to dance. I can give her songs she can dazzle us with."

Ne-Yo also revealed that Leona, 23, is "very shy, which could be a good or bad thing".

He added: "In this business, people want to know you, so you've got to be willing to give it. I hope she starts doing shows to build up her stage presence as it's something you have to train for."
