Katie Price has unveiled a new set of equestrian clothing today to rival the current "bland" ranges.

The 30-year-old star, also known as Jordan, said she was determined to make her products "glitzy" and introduce new colours to the sport.

Launching the latest range of KP Equestrian, she said: "All you see is bland tweeds and browns - bland colours I wouldn't wear. I thought 'why not bring some colour into it?'.

She also revealed she has bought a new horse, called Jordan's Player, as part of her plans to take part in a series of equestrian events this year.

"When we move back from LA, I've got lots of riding plans for the rest of the year," she said.

"I'm going to enter loads of dressage competitions, both on Jordan's Glamour Girl and my new horse, Jordan's Player.

"I bought him recently in Holland. I took him out with me to LA and I'm having a great time getting to know him."

Katie said she planned to compete in a top equestrian event at the NEC, in Birmingham on April 19.

"Something I'm really looking forward to is taking part in an arena polo match at the British Open Show Jumping Championships," she said.

She said she was planning a new autobiography, range of perfume, sunglasses and cosmetics. She also revealed her intention to make a film, adding: "I've got lots of things coming up."
