Reese: My kids love monster movie
Reese Witherspoon has said her children are "crazy" about her new film Monsters Vs Aliens.
Speaking at the film's LA premiere, dressed in a short, sparkly silver and green frock, she said she enjoyed making the animated flick for Ava, nine, and Deacon, five.
She said: "To say that they like this movie would be like the crazy understatement of the world, because they are crazy about it. They carry the characters around; they play in the morning with their action figures, so this is a really great experience to make a film for my kids that they love."
Reese provided the voice of Ginormica in the new Dreamworks film, which also stars Hugh Laurie and Seth Rogen.
"There's not that many movies that have female superheroes in them so this was a great opportunity to not only be telling a great story of female empowerment but also create this awesome character," Reese added.
